lag spikes

so i have been geting lag spike for the last 2 or 3 days. wen i get into the game my ping is fine but every 10 or 15 sec it would go up to 700 and i would lag out for 1 sec.

all i have changed was, a new vidoe card so i change my vidoe setting in game. and thats all.

so throw some stuff at me that i can try.

whats the video card? and what settings did you change?

i was havin the same problem.. i had a new router i needed to put in anyways, so i'm gonna go see if that works real quick and let you know the next time i post up.. but it was gettin rediculous i just had to change it haha.

did you make sure you got the up to date video card driver?

the new vidoe card i got wat a 9800 GT, and i tried thos rates out still the same. wat do u mean up to date video card driver. i have updated the vidoe card wen i installed it yes if thats wat you mean

maybe your motherboardis overheating becauseit cant handle the video card?

^^ nah overheatin wouldn't do it. and i dont think the mobo would over heat cause of the card, i've never heard of that

i promise it's safe, but i can't garentee it'll fix the problem. but i know it should help with damn near everything else. those guys at that website are pro's i got one installed now
