what happened was the guy got deaths account somehow....then sent a message to everyone on his friendslist saying somethin like "Hey join my steam community" with a link you click teh link and it brought up a page still in steam that said log in with your Friends name and pw to join this community or somethin and just had a login area.... looked pretty legit

being your steam friend death, got me jacked too.. thank god for back ups.. fucking 5 digi... gone like that..
